CHSnor AS and UGV AS have today signed an agreement formalizing their continued collaboration related to an ongoing project between CHSnor AS and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI).
Through this partnership, the partners together with FFI and the Norwegian Armed Forces, will further develop expertise and build new experience in battery hybridization and electric drivetrains for heavy military vehicles. The work will include the development, construction and testing of one or more demonstrators.
– This is a collaboration we have strong confidence in. CHSnor AS and UGV AS complement each other well, both technologically and strategically. We look forward to taking the next step together, says Rune Hansen, Managing Director of UGV AS.

Expertise in battery technology
UGV AS is a startup with strong expertise in battery technology, autonomy and the development of hybrid drivetrains for heavy machinery. This expertise will be central to the work ahead. Rune Hansen is also CTO of Zecon AS, which produces battery components for a range of applications.
– The agreement provides a solid foundation for further developing solutions that meet future requirements for efficiency, robustness, and sustainability. It is both exciting and important to work closely with CHSnor AS on this project, says Hansen.
– Both partners agree that the agreement marks the beginning of a continued strategic commitment. We look forward to further developing the collaboration in the time ahead, says Morten Eggen, Managing Director of CHSnor AS.
